The clocks have changed and the leaves are falling from the trees and the cold, waning days mean that your TuxJam hosts are like three squirrels searching for some Free and Open Source Software to see them through winter. Well, perhaps that’s not quite what squirrels do, and we need more than FOSS to survive, but your hosts Kevie, Dave and Andrew are a bit nuts.
We begin with a quick look of distrowatch and then move on to looking at the Feren OS GNU/linux distro and then the Fedilab Android app. We finish up with feedback including some which came from Andrew and Dave’s attendance at OggCamp 2019.

Feren OS: Dominic Hayes is the young talented guy behind this distro. I remember talking with him a lot during my Big Daddy Linux Live time. He is extremely focussed on themes which is why the OS looks good. I remember testing it with the group, and pretty much had the same conclusions, that it was an extended Linux Mint.
Fedilab: Like most of you I use Tusky for my Mastodon access. Have heard of Fedilab, but after your review I installed it from F-Droid. Fedilab has certainly more options than Tusky, including viewing the Federated Timeline. Oddly that is the reason I am going to stay with Tusky as I don’t need the whole Federated Timeline on my phone. Since I am writing this over 3 years later I am sure both apps are a lot more polished now than when you reviewed.
